Nevaeh - I Know You’re There
Hip Hop/Rap, Pop
Washington, United States
Overall Impression: Trevor Stewart, better known as The I.C.O.N., was raised in the Bronx, but currently resides in a suburb of Seattle, Washington. The I.C.O.N. brings his own flavor of Hip Hop, honest music for real people, always fighting to preserve the true spirit of Hip Hop! The I.C.O.N. (The International Champ Of Night) isn't new to the scene, he's been in the rap game for decades, but after dealing with some of life's struggles, Trevor now has a new direction and regained his motivation. The I.C.O.N. isn't afraid to describe his feelings, share his thoughts or get personal with his lyrical content, as Trevor uses his life's experiences to fuel his inspiration for creating his latest single "Beginnings". A powerful beat with an uplifting and energizing feel, whereas Trevor creates a simple, but genius loop that allows him to spit bar after bar while keeping the listeners fully engaged.
Strongest Point(s): "Beginnings" is a combination of a hard trap-style Hip Hop beat, and an inspirational chord progression expressed by a commanding string section, resulting in a song with good structure and a great energy. The message behind the lyrics is a good one, and The I.C.O.N. gives a solid delivery and a strong hook.
Target Audience Appeal: If you are looking for hard-hitting true Hip Hop, then look no further than The I.C.O.N. (The International Champ Of Night). A real emcee bringing original beats and lyrics to the game. "Beginnings" is a 90's-style influenced Hip Hop beat, but updated with a current sound.. and it will get you hooked! I for one am hoping we get to hear a lot more from The I.C.O.N. in the near future!
Artist target suggestions: Visionaries, LMNO, Sunspot Jonz, Latyrx, Willie Green, E L U C I D, Quelle Chris, Earl Sweatshirt, Armand Hammer, Metro Boomin, Living Legends, Mystik Journeymen, Aceyalone, Hieroglyphics
