Doubting Tomas - Stop Bitch'n Around
Rock, Hard Rock
Arizona, United States
Overall Impression: Killer riffs, catchy hooks, and plenty of that quintessential rock attitude, "Stop Bitch'n Around" is a gloriously classic sounding hard-rocker that encompasses the spirit of the genre brilliantly. Doubting Tomas has served up a deliciously meaty sounding track that has both great character and excellent production values, resulting in a rip-rollicking good time from start to finish.
Strongest Point(s): With any great rock tune that favors the genre's more bombastic qualities, you need performances that mirror this energy, and it's safe to say Doubting Tomas really does bring a great sense of spirit to the table. There's an animation to the performances that inject the track with the required energy it needs to have that in-your-face attitude, not only are all the performances excellent, but they capture the essence of the genre superbly. A brilliant lead vocal performance is joined by killer guitar playing and a hard-hitting bass/drum rhythmic combo to provide listeners with a truly authentic loud-sounding rock'n'roll experience, and the humorously tongue-in-cheek lyrics certainly add to the tracks cheeky sense of character enormously. A track of this nature needs a great production and mix to really bring it to life, and with master producer and engineer Eddie Kramer at the helm, it's no wonder the track sounds phenomenal!
Target Audience Appeal: Lovers of classic rock will undoubtedly have an absolute blast with "Stop Bitch'n Around".
Artist target suggestions: Quiet Riot, Whitesnake, Accept, Scorpions, UFO, Krokus, Dokken, Great White, Twisted Sister, Sammy Hagar, Airbourne, AC/DC, Poison, Motley Crue, Winger, Van Halen
