Breal’s Boutique - Hotline
Dance/Electronica, Hip Hop, R&B
California, United States
Overall Impression: Up and coming talent Breal's Boutique's first single, "HOTLINE", is a smooth and laid-back, thought provoking instrumental hiphop beat, that can roll with the best of them! The calming effects of the 80's-style synth tracks, and the infectious rhythm of the drums and bass, will have you daydreaming before you know it. "HOTLINE" definitely has a chill and relaxed feel, but Breal's Boutique didn't go the common route with a regular Lofi-hiphop sound, instead pairing the atmospheric music with a solid trap-hop style beat which creates some motion and drives the track hard! The dreamy melody and hypnotizing rhythm of "HOTLINE" will get you hooked and have you begging for more!
Strongest Point(s): Top-notch quality production, as well as the recording and mix. The combination of the relaxed feel of the synths tracks, along with the commanding groove/rhythm of the drums and bass line, is definitely a nice touch.. I also like how this creates a sort of seductive vibe to the track. The structure and flow of the song as well as the instrumental performance show a considerable amount of knowledge and understanding of songwriting/musical composition.
Target Audience Appeal: Fans of ChillHop, Synthwave, LoFi HipHop, R&B and Electronica should check out Breal's Boutique! "HOTLINE" is a perfect song for when you get a little alone time and have the freedom to just let your mind wander. An inspiring and meditative hiphop beat that will help you get through your day. With bangers like "HOTLINE", Breal's Boutique may be new to the scene, but you wouldn't know it!
Artist target suggestions: Austra, Poliça, Phantogram, Niki & The Dove, Teebs, Alias, Nosaj Thing, Jonwayne, Caribou, Stan Forebee, HM Surf, Swørn, Sami Matar, Duke & Jones, Com Truise, Home
