BSarunas - Unconditioned
Dance/Electronica, New Age, Downtempo
Norway

Overall Impression: "Unconditioned" is a mesmerizing new release from electronic music composer/producer, Sarunas. A rich, pulsating bass line is accentuated by light, processed percussion and plucky synths on this hypnotically serene piece of ambient electronica. Sarunas does an excellent job of thoughtfully and subtly building this track from the ground up, gradually layering elements without ever feeling cluttered. The relaxed tempo, mellow tones, and cozy chord progressions make Sarunas' "Unconditioned" the perfect addition to any chillout or afterparty playlist.

Strongest Point(s): Outstanding production, excellent mix. Great tonal balance. The bass sounds fantastic. Kick cuts through, and has a warm punch to it. Nice use of the automated filter on the clap/snare. Hypnotic, rolling rhythms. Nice pop style four chord harmonic progression. Wonderful arrangement, really good job of varying voices and dropping the rhythmic elements in and out. The piece has a great subdued buildup that gives it a quiet sort of intensity, without sacrificing any of its soothing qualities. Overall, it's a marvelous piece of work, both compositionally and production wise. I feel like you definitely captured the mood that you set out to create with this track.

Target Audience Appeal: Fans of Electronica, Ambient, New Age, Chillout
