Overall Impression: "Triste Final" is another fine release by vocal extraordinaire Oscar de Fontana who once again gives another stellar lead performance that encapsulates all of his refined vocal qualities. Both soothing and highly expressive, Oscar's vocals wonderfully encompass the undeniably classic sounding and highly passionate nature of Latin music, and he sings with both great heart and feeling. Accompanied by a richly textured and harmonically sophisticated musical backing, Oscar's vocals glide effortlessly across the vibrant melodic themes that underlay him, resulting in a brilliantly alluring and romantic piece of music that you can't help but admire.
Strongest Point(s): It goes without saying that Oscar is a fantastic vocalist and once again shows his breadth of skills as a performer. Oscar's use of vibrato is excellent and really injects the lyrics with that added splash of style and sophistication. Both the song's melodic and harmonic qualities have a brilliantly exotic feel to them, which is a staple of Latin music so this is no surprise, but there is a definite fiery passion to the music that gives the track its romantic qualities. There is something also particularly romantic-in-feel about "Triste Final" that gives the track a certain affectionate quality that I'm sure most listeners will find charming.
Target Audience Appeal: Oscar de Fontana has a brilliant Latin based vocal style that echoes many of the older and classic Latin singing styles, I'm sure lovers of Latin music will have a great time with "Triste Final"
