Okami Three - Blue
Alternative/Alt. Rock, Indie Rock, Modern Rock
New York, United States

Overall Impression: Rock band Okami Three has released the new tune Blue. Opening with harmonized acoustic guitars, Blue instantly reveals an Alternative Rock sound blanketed with the feeling of being alone in a crowd. The sauntering groove and melancholic mood persuades listeners to dip into that feeling of blue. Matching the overall sound, the lyrics hone in on loss and the remnants and memories that stick around far after the dust has settled. They are sung with a dark tone and are separated by a cool instrumental chorus. After the verses establish the overall blue sound, the subsequent material builds to a cool climactic end. Overall, Blue by Okami Three is a dark new Alternative Rock tune that lives up to its name.

Strongest Point(s): The instrumental work, lyrical content, and vocals all have their own blue quality. Mixed together, this tune undeniably has the sound the band was going for.

Target Audience Appeal: Fans of Rock, Grunge, and Alternative Rock will dig Blue by Okami Three.

Artist target suggestions: The Vines, The Smashing Pumpkins, The Smiths, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Bush, Sick Puppies, Seether, The Cure, Stone Temple Pilots, Audioslave
