Overall Impression: Solid songwriting and catchy hooks make "Here I am" both an accessible and assured pop-rocker that blends a strong sense of melody with a clear artistic vision. Upcoming artist Sage knows the genre well and has cooked up a highly listenable and deftly produced track that is both engaging and charming. "Here I am" has a particularly early 2000's pop style aesthetic to it which is interesting when combined with its more contemporary elements, the end result is an interesting culmination of ideas that many listeners will find themselves easily connecting with.

Strongest Point(s): The lyrics are certainly a strong point and have a very accessible quality to them which listeners will find wholly relatable. A good pop track needs lyrics that have that "sing-along" element to them and "Here I am" definitely has that. Rhythmically, the track has a definite sense of energy to it which is certainly helped by an animated rhythm section that helps propel the song forward. There are some great melodic ideas interspersed that go a long way to help keep the listener continually invested throughout and the arrangement, which has been crafted with great care and attentiveness, has a great flow to it which makes the listening experience a resoundingly seamless one.

Target Audience Appeal: Fans of modern pop-rock will definitely appreciate what "Here I am" has to offer.

Artist target suggestions: Taylor Swift, Maroon 5, Daughtry, YUNGBLUD, The Script, Train, Jason Mraz, Andy Grammer, John Mayer, Jonas Brothers, HAIM, Badly Drawn Boy, Kings of Leon, Of Monsters and Men
