Overall Impression: Mixing elements of jazz, pop, funk, and alt. rock into a wildly original sounding track, "Band Of Light" is a resoundingly good time that combines strong performances, well-written lyrics, and a solid arrangement into an enjoyable listening experience. The eclectic mix of styles that the song adopts certainly aid in giving the track it's unique styling, from the jazzy brass to the funky bass/guitar combo, there is a tremendous amount of diverse detail in the song's arrangement, and the fact that the song leans into its pop elements so confidently ensures that this track is extremely accessible to a wide audience.
