Days of Alexander - Road
Alternative/Alt. Rock, Punk Rock
Lisbon, Portugal

Overall Impression: There's a beautiful yet haunting quality to "Road" that you simply can't help but feel captivated by, Days of Alexander has crafted a thoroughly absorbing piece of music that is both sombre in nature and smartly understated, resulting in a melancholic journey filled with delicate emotion and deep contemplation, excellent.

Strongest Point(s): The performances are particularly strong, led by a lead vocal performance that's filled with character and grace, the lead expresses the equally poignant lyrics with great refinement and feeling, and speaking of the lyrics, there's a darkness to them that really grabs you as a listener, both filled with meaning and very relevant themes, they act as the thematic backbone to the track and feel like they are very much the heart and central focus of the track. There's a great dynamic between the musicians that you can really feel come through the music, there is obviously a very particular direction, as well as clear vision, that is shared amongst the group, and this makes the impact of the song extremely effective.

Target Audience Appeal: Fans of alt-rock will connect with this track, and will surely find themselves swept up in its mature themes.

Artist target suggestions: Johnny Cash, David Sylvian, Ben Howard, Gregory Alan Isakov, Bear's Den, Bon Iver, Nirvana, Nick Mulvey, RY X
