Overall Impression: Having had the good fortune of reviewing previous tracks by Ceddysius, I think it's safe for me to say that I know what I'm expecting from every new release by this talented artist, well-written lyrics, ample amounts of groove, great performances, and solid production values, and it's also safe for me to say that this track once again hits on all those key points. "Worthiness" is another extremely strong release by Ceddysius, both dripping with style and with plenty of melodies to go around, this is a solid R&B-infused Hip Hop track that has plenty on offer for fans of the genre to sink their teeth into
Strongest Point(s): This wouldn't be a Ceddysius track if it didn't contain excellent vocal performances, and this song is no exception. Ceddysius brings his A-game to the table, expressing the lyrics with a melodious and tonally distinct delivery that takes front and center stage. The way in which different vocal lines are layered and intertwined with one another is superb, helping to create a great sense of dynamism within the track by utilizing a call and response motif, not only does this further help bring the lyrics to life, but also adds heaps of character to them. The opening works exceptionally well, helping to set the scene with its atmosphere-drenched aesthetic, this is a great way to kick-start the song and has a great ambient feel to it, the gentle build-up coupled with the excellently placed reverse effect is a perfect way to lead into the vocals, and makes their entrance that bit more dramatic and gripping. As always, the production is pristine, the mix is perfectly balanced, and has plenty of energy to it, perfectly capturing the feel of the track without losing any of the delicate details of the song in translation.
Target Audience Appeal: This will undoubtedly appeal to fans of the hip hop and r&b genres, there's plenty for audiences of these styles to like here.
