Overall Impression: Two sisters, one dream with “Home”, the duo Auriet has created soft, dreamy, elegant music, that has created a unique listening experience for a variety of listeners of all ages and genres of music. It's an epic masterpiece. a mix of classical, folk and celtic music the song plays like a dream. With soft simple chords and minimal accompanient this is a new modernized version of a lullaby with celtic roots and undertones. The song is angelic and lively both in its instrumental and vocal performance. This duo is definitely one to keep your eye, they are rising stars and one to watch.
Strongest Point(s): The song's strongest points are evident in the first few minutes with a beautifully played and composed melody, this song is structurally and instrumentally sound. Even with minimal accompaniment from the violins, flutes and the duos vocals, the song stirs up the listener's interest and intrigue. Their is a great balance and harmony in the mix, from the beginning with haunting, beautiful and somewhat somber, minor chords to the duo's vocals, which are soft, pure, and angelic, they are filled with feminity and innocence and their tone is flawless. They harmonies are sung in unison with great control, and although their voices are very similar, their are slight differences and nuances that add another level of texture and interest to the piece.
