Dany L Blackburn - Jump On It
Pop, R&B, Alternative, Rap, Hip Hop, Gospel, Rock, Jazz , House
California, United States

Overall Impression: “Jump On It” is the latest release from singer/songwriter and composer, Dany L. Blackburn. For Blackburn, music is all-encompassing. She is passionate about her craft as for her the production from beginning to end is all D.I.Y. Dany composes and arranges all her compositions, it's all original, there are no tricks here. Her music is a sophisticated blend of R&B, Soul, and pop music that will appeal to fans in a wide variety of age groups and genres.

Strongest Point(s): Considering Blackburn does everything herself, including recording the track in a home studio, the production is tight and professional quality. The melody and vocals are where the track gets their substance, from the beginning sounds of the keyboard that has a rich organ sound that is reminiscent of gospel and church music. The track then continues on and develops some flavor, with a retro R&B feel with synthesized beats that sound like bells. Blackburn's vocals are sultry, seductive, deep, and rich with soul. The vocals have clear, crisp, layered harmonies that create a romantic musical landscape. There are a lot of layers to her voice and she frequently varies her tone and range. The song also includes lots of great accents and effects to the beat and rhythm of the song.

Target Audience Appeal: Fans of R&B the blues, soul, jazz, rap, hip-hop, gospel adult contemporary, and pop music, as well as fans of En Vogue and Destiny's Child.

Artist target suggestions: En Vogue, Monica, Jennifer Hudson, Whitney Houston, Aaliyah, Beyonce, Fifth Harmony, Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams, Julia Michaels, Ashanti, Kelis, Monica, Robyn, Solange, Katherine McPhee, Adele, Faith Evans, Mya, Toni Braxton, Sapphire, Thalia, Zendaya, Vanessa Williams, Lara Fabian, Taylor Dayne, Dido, Des'ree, Bishop Briggs, ZAYN, Robin Thicke, Norah Jones
