Kierre Lewis - Electric Portals
Dance/Electronica, Instrumental, New Age
Ohio, United States

Overall Impression: Electric Portals is a journey for the mind! It is ever changing and morphing, with new flavors and colors appearing throughout the song. The heavy rhythmic syncopation has a relentless groove that will keep the listener dancing the entire time. With tasty solo lines, a smorgasbord of sounds, and the mastery of ingredients, Kierre Lewis is the Chef and I want to be in the kitchen! Electric Portals is very well written, where every detail is well thought through and balanced beautifully, with an excellent mix.

Strongest Point(s): The feel of the song is strong. It is consistent and driven throughout the song. The solo cello in addition to the whispy voices add a layer of depth, and then we're off to the races. It has a strong feeling of flying and observing the world moving beneath. The execution of the instruments is spectacular as well, and again, is mixed very well. All voices are well represented throughout, as is Kierre's as an artist.

Target Audience Appeal: Fans of Lindsey Stirling will enjoy this piece, along with audiences that enjoy movie scores, upbeat focus music, light EDM, and most dance music. This Would be a great song for a workout playlist, Live, at a festival, and on screen for movies, television, and streaming platforms (Hulu, Netflix). The Genre this falls into is a bit tricky, because it crosses Electro-pop, Electro-rock, Pop-synth, and Contemporary-Classical. You could definitely list it under all of those, but it is unique enough to stand alone and start a new crossover genre.

Artist target suggestions: Escala, Air, Apocalyptica, Bond, Daft Punk, David Arkenstone, David Guetta, David Lanz & Paul Speer, Deadmau5, Electric Light Orchestra, Enya, Explosions in the Sky, Hans Zimmer, Jim Brickman, La Roux, Lindsey Stirling, M.I.A., MGMT, Shadowfax, Tangerine Dream, The Chemical Brothers, The Piano Guys, Thievery Corporation, TiΓ«sto, Yanni
