Overall Impression: Displaying stellar songwriting capabilities and a deep wealth of musicality, Shaminor's My Love captures the intense throes of starstruck love with artful melodies, rich instrumentals, and sublime lyricism. Shaminor delivers the song with expert vocal approach, and excellent part writing - My Love echoes the techniques of classic love balladeers, but with a distinctly unique style and approach that are sure to leave listeners wanting more!

Strongest Point(s): The lead vocals are warm and inviting and the instrumentation is equally adept! The overall feel of this track is cohesive and well rehearsed with a lot of space for musical instinct to shine through. The lyrics are well assembled and very evocative. The repetitive guitar arpeggios are really effective at keeping the sensation of waiting. Beautiful string work, especially the solo at 2:50 - and nice full bass tone for the sound. The energy at 3:06 is fantastic, with some really tasteful vocal ornamentation (3:26). Excellent work!

Target Audience Appeal: Shaminor's My Love is a gorgeous, emotionally dense ballad that hearkens back to the glory days of pre-electronic songwriting with a tone that's equal parts familiar and distinct. Fans of raw and authentic emotional deliveries will love the sound that Shaminor conjures here, and the lyrics are sure to hook more than a few pining lovebirds by the heartstrings. Beautiful songwriting!

Artist target suggestions: Jason Mraz, Van Morrison, Styx, Toto, Seal, Phil Colins, Jose Gonzales, Taylor Swift, Benjamin Gibbard, John Mayer, Billy Joel
