Intermezzo feat. Iris C. & Tamara B. - Siente el ritmo
Jazz, Funk, Vocal
Stuttgart, Germany

Overall Impression: What an infectiously catchy and upbeat tune! "Siente el Ritmo" is a superb example of how to weave genres together with great confidence and unbridled flair. Intermezzo feat. Iris C. & Tamara B. have conjured up a Jazz Latin Funk masterpiece that I couldn't help but tap my foot and nod my head to whilst listening, excellent!

Strongest Point(s): The melodic content here is exquisite, combining elements from multiple genres with great mastery and elegance. The clean funk guitar, groove-laden bass, and up-tempo drums provide great energy and flamboyance, borrowing elements from Funk, Soul and R & B styles, whilst the piano and brass sections infuse elements of Jazz, this is all brought together by an incredibly strong vocal performance that expertly fuses pop and soul. I love the Latin injected Piano interlude heard at 1:10 that soon transitions into a fantastic Jazz Fusion solo at 1:27, this is followed by an equally melodious Jazz Trumpet solo at 2:00, beautiful. The listener is always kept engaged by means of the sheer musical inventiveness on display. The instrumentation is diverse and creates a great sense of depth and tonal contrast. The overall mix and production are superb. All instruments sound crystal clear and sit very well in their own space and great care has obviously gone into ensuring that each instrument's individual characteristics are kept and the detail and definition in tone and timbre are retained. The general flow of the song works particularly well and sections are seamlessly woven together to create an exceptionally smooth listening experience.

Target Audience Appeal: This certainly will appeal to fans of Jazz, Soul, and Pop, however, some of the artists included in the "Artist Targets" section lean heavily into modern pop, such as Pink, Jennifer Lopez, and Lady Gaga, and I think this song has a far more complex and refined sound to it, this feels like it definitely has a more classic vibe, in the same vein as the other artists you have included, Quincy Jones, Patti Labelle, Stevie Wonder, etc.

Artist target suggestions: Michael Jackson, Gloria Estefan, Stevie Wonder, Quincy Jones, Gypsy Kings, Chick Corea, Weather Report, Miami Sound Machine, Nu Shooz, Norah Jones, Celeste, George Benson, Al Jarreau, Joe Sample, Fourplay
