Overall Impression: Begin Again is a new Christian Gospel song by North Carolina based Tevis Harris. Opening with a gorgeous instrumental intro, Begin Again starts out with a serenity perfectly mirrored by Harris's vocals before building into an uplifting triumph that is nothing short of awesome. Harris has a gorgeous voice full of subtlety and expression. He is joined by soloist Wanda Barnes, whose stunningly powerful voice will bring any congregation to their feet. Both Harris and Barnes are supported by the faVor gospel choir and a praise band. The choir is perfectly in tune and full of enthusiasm, and the band is clearly made up of extraordinarily fine musicians. Lyrically, the song sends the message that through Christ you can be healed and start anew. The message is a powerful one, but Harris, Barnes, faVor, and the band are able bring that message to life. Overall, Begin Again by Tevis Harris is a powerfully uplifting and awe-inspiring song in the name of God.
Strongest Point(s): It is tough to find only one strong point with this recording. All the singers - Harris, Wanda Barnes, and faVor are top notch and go 100% on this recording.
