i.O. Underground - Driving Blind
Pop
Colorado, United States
Overall Impression: Driving Blind is the newest release from Colorado-based Indie rockers i.O. Underground. Opening confidently with a rhythmic acoustic guitar, Driving Blind seems, at first, to be an indie-folk song. But listeners are soon taken on a roller coaster ride through the world of pop, alt. rock, and even a bit of EDM. By combining so many different musical elements, Driving Blind emerges with its own unique sound. The soaring vocals coupled with the lyrics create a mood akin to driving through a snow storm or running through the dark. With the release of Driving Blind, i.O. Underground has obvious talent at their disposal and is destined for greater things.
Strongest Point(s): I was very impressed to find out this is a self produced, home studio recording. The blending of genres and style is also a huge selling point for this song.
Target Audience Appeal: Indie fans are sure to enjoy the new release Driving Blind by i.O. Undeground
Artist target suggestions: The Lumineers, Cold Play, Imagine Dragons, Conor Oberst, The 1975, Death Cab for Cutie, Mumford & Sons, The Killers
