ANIA - Fade Away
Pop, Synthpop, Alternative Pop
Budapest, Hungary

Overall Impression: "Fade Away" from ANIA is a fist-pumping, get up on the dance floor kind of song. The beat is solid but versatile whether you want to rock out in your car, shake it in the club or use it as the means for an energized workout song. The track certainly serves its purpose in all capacities encompassed with a darker tone in both vocals and melody. ANIA brings us a high-energy danceable tune you are sure to put on any playlist and enjoy over and over!

Strongest Point(s): Lyrics and melody are where this song shines as both fit together so perfectly in tone and mood. The song has a catchy beat with synthesized keyboards and a club type mix, yet this touch of alt indie is present as well! It's strong female pop-rock-indie-dance at its finest filled with touches of melancholy and dissonance. "Fade Away" is a song of love, lies, and betrayal with lines like "You told me, that you love me, You told me that you can heal from your pain. How can I forget, the first time that we met. How can I forget, when we get our second chance, I'm packing all my stuff just waitin for you stopped. I should run away from you cause I can't control what you've done." These lyrics are only heightened by the melody and beats throughout the song as the percussion and bass begin to coming in hard and fast. Love that slapping down of staccato notes during the "Runaway, Runaway" lines.

Target Audience Appeal: Fans of pop, power pop, techno, and EDM.

Artist target suggestions: Kate Nash, Kiesza, Florence + The Machine, Mackenzie Nicole, Little Boots, Desiree, Dragonette, Bebe Rexha, Pink, La Roux, Kylie Minogue, Fergie, Robbie Williams, La Bouche, Crystal Waters, Tove Lo, Three Doors Down, Snow Patrol
