Kevin Hockaday - I Can't Run Away
Dance/Electronica, House, Downtempo
Washington, United States

Overall Impression: I Can't Run Away is such a dope song. This is a serious throwback to 90s chart dance music, impossible to not make you want to dance. Kevin Hockaday's single is an ode to the glory days of nightclubs and sunrise parties. Many producers, like Mark Ronson, express the dream to re-create Dance/House music of the 90s, but few succeed like Kevin Hockaday does in I Can't Run Away.

Strongest Point(s): The piano that's usually found in 90s Dance/House music, the melody, and the four on the floor beat --- all combined is a total winning combination. The vocals are great as well, but this is all about the beat and rhythm, and that very catchy hook/refrain that's almost hypnotic.

Target Audience Appeal: This song will appeal to people who love electronic, pop, trip-hop, lounge chill out, and dance/house music. The crowd that will appreciate this song will be people who attend Burning Man, love to go nightclubbing, and lovers of rave culture. There's a big scene here in the USA for this type of music, especially in LA and Miami, but the biggest market for Electronic or Dance/House music is in Europe and the UK. This type of music is not just a genre, it's a lifestyle for millions of people. It will also appeal to a lot of people because it falls under many genres and sub genres! This needs to go on heavy rotation on playlists of all the previously mentioned genres, sent to club and house party DJs, and hopefully this song will have some cool visuals (doesn't have to be a typical music video) to accompany this dope song.

Artist target suggestions: Kiesza, Haddaway, Little Boots, Roisin Murphy, La Roux, DJ Shadow, Saint Etienne, Mark Ronson, Diplo, Massive Attack, Tricky, Portishead, Sneaker Pimps, Groove Armada, DJ Shadow, Dua Lipa, Silk City, Crystal Waters.
