We Passersby - Sleeper Cell
Alternative/Alt. Rock, Hard Rock, Psychedelic
TN, United States
Overall Impression: Sirens...hurry up. Let's go! The agitation develops into a somber, mysterious Passersby's Sleeper Cell. We want to catch our loves in the daytime. Insomnia impedes our objective sights of how things are. It can make you anxious, but you have to stay focus. You keep running until your lungs burn as you breathe. "Embrace the hold" of ambitions where "you can’t stop now". Perseverance is all you have. Switch gears and think of that movie with people on the run. Passerby's "Sleeper Cell" would be the theme song for that scene or that movie. The intense mood will remain!
Strongest Point(s): Great choice in a low ended, well-rounded tone and timbre. The type of sound reminds me of Linkin' Park with the chord composition, but it maintains your own notable ideas. The dissonance in your melody line gives an amount of tension needed to match the ambience detailed in the words/lyrics. You have some with adding siren at the beginning. Other instrumentation used was keyboard (synth), electric guitar and bass, drum set. Great pedal work in the bass drum(s). The echoes using reverb adds an element of mystification. Nice vocal qualities with pitch production. The higher ranged notes don't sound force as in straining the voice.
Target Audience Appeal: Alternative Rock, Punk Rock, Film/TV; emotions/feelings: anxiety, agitated, persevere, contemplation, annoyed, commitment, exhilaration, paranoid, rattled rage, intense, tense, pensive.
Artist target suggestions: A Perfect Circle, Alice in Chains, Deftones, Foo Fighters, Linkin' Park, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Pink Floyd, Radiohead, Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, The Smashing Pumpkins
