Fagie - Tribulations
Hip Hop/Rap, Christian, Afrobeat
France
Overall Impression: Fagie's sound carries a massive sense of rhythm and groove, and his lyrics reflect an understanding of the uncertainties that life brings. His song Tribulations delivers a thoughtful and encouraging message with a skill and style that mirror Fagie's passion for the craft - reminding listeners to move forward with discernment and patience as life continues to unfold.
Strongest Point(s): The overall feel of this track is incredible! The energy is infectious, making it impossible to listen without moving along to the polyrhythmic patterns that the beat and vocal deliveries create, and the vocals themselves are well delivered and recorded! The message is solid, and the lyric flow of the chorus is memorable. Awesome mix - well balanced between all parts. Great work!
Areas of Improvement: The first moments of the track feel a little thin mix-wise, but as soon as the beat and vocals fully drop, everything sounds just right. If anything at all, that looped guitar part in the backing track could be just a little louder in the first few moments to really grab listener attention. It's a great track though!
Target Audience Appeal: Fans of Christian rap, or even just fans of rap will be able to immerse themselves in the sound of Tribulations, and Fagie has a character and charm that are sure to resonate with listeners from all kinds of backgrounds. With an exciting flow and a pristine mix, Tribulations is a massive track - thanks for sending it in!
