Overall Impression: "She's a Hustler" offers everything you could possibly want in a modern Hip-Hop tune, an assured vocal performance, a killer sense of melody, and an attention-grabbing production that is both professionally crafted and radio-friendly. Da Real Sko-rilla has done a very fine job indeed at creating a scintillating track that boasts a strong lyrical style and an even stronger vocal presence that grabs audiences and presents them with a groove-heavy Hip-Hop song with great dashings of R&B thrown in for good measure.
Strongest Point(s): Sko-Rilla shows a clear strong commitment and passion for the Hip-Hop genre and this unbridled love for the style can really be felt throughout "She's a Hustler". The well-written and engaging lyrics are complimented greatly by Sko-Rilla's deft vocal skills and style, helping to really inject the lyrics with the necessary charisma and allure that they require in order to really pull in the listener. Both melodically and rhythmically, "She's a Hustler" is certainly not short on creativity, the core harmonic movement of the track is brilliantly conveyed through the use of delicately arranged arpeggio sequences, courtesy of the guitar and synth instruments, alongside a brilliantly conceived intervallic bass backing that does a superb job of establishing the strong sense of groove the track is built upon, which is of course further aided by the slickly arranged drum track. All this is nicely packaged in an excellent production that feels both alive and detailed.
