Jango Radio Coachella Station

Jango Radio Coachella Station
The Coachella Music And Arts Festival starts this week, and we want to offer you an opportunity to promote your music on our Jango Radio Coachella station. The festival spans a pair of weekends, so our station will be featured for almost two full weeks. That gives you ample opportunity to expose your music to thousands of listeners!

Jango Radio’s Coachella station is quite eclectic, including genres like rock, indie, hip hop and electronic music. We’ve created a list of featured artists and you can even browse it by genre.
Try to stick to your main genre, as the targets will affect your radio spins outside the Coachella station. Follow the steps below to take advantage of this opportunity:

#1 Click this List of featured artists
#2 Find artists in the list which you sound similar to.
#3 Add them to your artist target page (this will increase the probability of your music being played in our Coachella station)

Please note that you need Play Credits to take advantage of this offer.

Thanks for letting us promote your music and as always, thanks for being part of Jango Airplay.

The Coachella blog mentions the ability to promote our music on Radio Coachella, but it doesn't say how to go about doing that. I guess I'm missing something, but it would be great if Jango can provide additional information so we know what steps to take.

I think that they are saying that if you target artists in the Coachella list and get enough 'likes' then you will start appearing when people like the Coachella artists.

But I'm not sure if I belong in that crowd anyway

I agree completely with the first comment. So go buy more credits.

Radio Coachella is another radio station, probably hosted by the event promoters. The promotion listed above refers to promotion on Jango Radio's own Coachella Festival station.

If you target artists featured in the Coachella station you're increasing the probability of getting airplay in that station.

So you go to Artist target list, looking for a way to get your music played and there you find a link that takes you where? Here! What total bullshit is this???!!!
Phhhh!
And I have to pay to get my music played?
I'm getting sick of this!
Go make your own music and pay for it to get played! Pah!
I must've taken a wrong turn and landed on the wrong planet - where music art is simply not appreciated.

It's actually quite simple, though Jango's explanation could have been more easy to follow and simpler. Add your selections to your targeting page

Why should i continue to pay to get air play?
Is that fair?

No it is not fair.. as an artist the only reason my band was on here we got a free week from sonic bids but honestly come on.

Who knows maybe this is what Sam Phillips did with Elvis and Johhny Cash pay per play! Thanks Jango.. fn ass holes. but thanks fir the fans... I like that part... I just don't get it when do I have to stop paying to give my music away... even whores get payed sluts don't but they dont pay to give it away.

How do you know anyone listens to your music? Think its all bullshit anyway, just another money making machine.

I think $10 per 250 plays is not bad at all and on your profile page people are listed whom have heard your song. then you know you are being played in that country. and think about it: Jango has to support itself, they are not whores. (some poster is complaining that musicians have to give it away free, making reference it's like whoring) not really. It's a pleasure to bring someone else pleasure, all around the world. I don't understand Coachella station either, but I figured out how to add sound alike artists, gets you played with them.
