The Winning Audio Intros

First of all we would like to thank you for submitting your audio introductions to us - we heard many great, creative ways to catch listeners' attention! After reviewing your intros we found two winning submissions that were able to capture our attention in a catchy & professional way, and we're certain our listeners think the same.

The two winners of best audio intro and 1,000 free play credits are:

John That - Better Next To You

Joseph Gomez - Just You (Can Have My Love)

Both John and Joseph we're able to present themselves within the 5 seconds or less offered, and give listeners enough information to remember their song title & artist name. John's intro is very catchy but still professional and goes on before music starts. Joseph, on the other hand, gives his presentation over his song intro so it blends in well with the start of the music. Two different ways to make smart audio intros.

We received a lot of great submissions so here's a list of other great intros we think you should check out.

James Cademan - Blank Page
James Cademan - Swingin' At Shadows
James Cademan - Game of Fate
Furious Stylez - Stars
Furious Stylez - Haters
Long Story - Will It Be Better Tomorrow

Congratulations to the winners, and thank you all for your submissions. And as always - thanks for being part of Jango Airplay.

I'm sorry - don't mean to be rude - - but are you kidding? like listeners want to hear this crap before every song? seems like a really poor suggestion/idea..... :C=

Hey Anon...try offering a solution with your opinion.

I'm not a fan of the idea of an intro before every song...or even every other song on the playlist. But I think if Jango could rig it so there was an autoplay intro (SHORT INTRO) on the artist's profile page that could be interesting and a good set up for focusing on a single performer/band.

Cheers...keep up the good work~!

E. Broussard some artists need an audio intro to hear the artist. Thank God my songs doesn't. I think it's a good ideal, good luck to all.

You seem to be playing paid songs in the middle of the night when nobody is listening or voting.
Half my plays occur between 12am and 8am and I get no 'likes'.
Wasting my cash...
It might be a valuable feature/service to add for your paid customers to NOT play them at night. (geographically speaking of course)

You might also include a link to hoe many "Breakem" vote we get.
I assume if I have 300 plays and 4 likes that I'm getting 296 "Breakem's".
But there might only be 20 "Breakem's" and the other 276 just don't vote..

In my opinion, the best thing Jango could do is give artists the option if they want the PROMO BOX or not. Personally I hate the damn thing. Either people like your stuff or they don't! If I'm listening to a song and like it, I don't care if they're a new band or not. Kinda feels like you're in a high-school talent contest...I mean really? Make or Break? What genius thought that up?
