You can think of the custom message like a 'Status Update' and in the same way it should be changed often; You may have some of the same listeners hearing you again, looking for what's new in your band's world.You can update your custom message and it's click through link right from the 'Band Info' tab in your artist dashboard.
Tell Jango listeners about an upcoming gig, direct them to your facebook page, announce the new album or just thank the listeners for listening...It's all about making that connection.
