The Times They Are A Changin'


In the ever changing landscape that is the new music business some still read the pages of the old rulebook while others have just thrown it out the window. There hasn't been a new set of rules laid down and it's not likely that there will be. The one thing we do know is that nothing is ever going to stop people from making and playing music. The thing we don't know is who is going to finance projects, who is going to make money from the projects or how they are going to do it.

On that note, a new serious player has been creeping into the scene recently and they seem to be about to make a solid commitment to become a patron of the rock and roll arts. That player is Converse sneakers who are now building a state of the art music studio in Williamsburg Brooklyn, heart of a lively DIY indie music community.
