Jango Airplay Top 10

Here's the top 10 artists on Jango Airplay for the week of Oct 4-10. This week sees a lot of turnover as Falconbrook is the only holdover from last week. Check them all out below.

For This Cause is a recently-formed alternative/post-hardcore band from Australia. They spent much of 2009 and 2010 on tour, pausing just long enough to release their debut EP this past February.

Falconbrook are a set of enigmatic post-rockers whose compositions are sprawling, but never dull. They keep their identities private and let the music speak for itself.

#5: Lynn Lister
Lynn Lister makes music in a small studio in Texas, overlooking trees and a stream. Mostly instrumentals from a bunch of old guitars and a couple of new synthesizers. And, of course, his beloved MacBook Pro. You can definitely tell by the laid back feel of his music.

#6: Legrand
Christopher Ross, aka Legrand, ushers originality back into the hip- hop community as well as his unique sense of diverse cultures. This amazing lyricist has opened for Black Moon, De La Soul, Busta Rhymes and has toured extensively overseas.

Particle Wave materialized in 2006 when its four members began jamming and playing small gigs across Southern California. Rooted in classic rock, they incorporate elements of noise pop and indie rock, delivering a strong, melody-driven experience.

Michael E Walker or Mike as he likes to be called, hunts, fishes, and play's music. He's going to be real busy the next couple of months promoting his song "California." This will be the first time that he'll be actively seeking a record deal.

Andrea's voice has been called "unique" and "special". John has crazy piano skills--a musician's musician. Andrea's lyrics are deep and poetic and enticingly lead people back to the scriptures. The duo having almost nothing in common except for their musical calling.
